The Passing Out Parade marks the end of the 6-month training of the recruits. It is officiated by HRH The Sultan as Commandant of the JMF. The ceremony is held at the parade ground at the JMF Headquarters. The Commandant inspects the guard of honour mounted by the recruits. This is followed by slow march and quick march. The Commandant then presents awards for Best Recruit, Best Marksman, Best Marching, and Best Academic Student. The Commandant receives the royal salute and the State Anthem is played. The ceremony ends when the recruits and their proud parents are introduced to the Commandant.
