Community Programmes
The JMF participates in community activities as part of its social responsibilities. It provides assistance in realising the community’s goals.
JMF Community Programmes:-
- Working hand-in-hand with the Johor Bahru City Council and residents to clean up the residential areas to prevent the spread of dengue and other vector-borne diseases.
- Cleaning up the mosque at Parit Jalil in Parit Sulong together with volunteers organised by the Johor Religious Department after the floods in 2010.
- Provides assistance at funerals of VVIPs and lesser royals, including participating in tahlil prayers and acting as pall-bearers.
- Training officers and members of the Red Crescent on marching drills.
- Training primary and secondary school students on drills, to encourage and instil discipline and to cultivate esprit de corp.
- Appointed as inspectorate to the enforcement units of local authorities for their confirmation and promotion.
- Training drills for civil servants during their induction course conducted by the State government.
- Assists in despatching supplies during floods.
- Visiting and offering assistance to JMF men or their families who are ill, assisting and providing financial aid to JMF men or their families during their bereavements.
