Ungku Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Majid
Ungku Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Majid was sent to England by Sultan Sir Ibrahim for his education and, on his return, first served in the state administration. In 1919, he joined the JMF as a Cadet Officer and was appointed as ADC to the Sultan with the rank of Second Lieutenant. In 1923, holding the rank of Major, he was made the Commanding Officer of the Johor Volunteer Forces (JVF) for the district of Johor Bahru. He acted on many occasions as Chief Minister and was confirmed and appointed the sixth Chief Minister of Johor in 1935.)
